Jacana Gardens Non-Profit Nursery

At Jacana we have our own in-house garden Non-Profit nursery to supply our clients with the very best of plants at competitive prices. Funds raised go to consultation for Schools, Hospitals and community programs for garden projects from initial design through to completion.

Our Social Responsibility Program

Zambia Police: Jacana Gardens provide free garden maintenance at Lusaka Central Police Station. The idea is to provide a more welcoming, friendly environment for the general public and install a feeling of pride in our Police. We intend to extend this service as our business grows.

Beit Cure Hospital: Jacana Gardens intends to establish an a new garden nursery at Beit Cure Hospital with a garden shop on a Non-Profit basis. We are hoping in time to gain some sponsorship funding to build a facility which will include a charity shop and a small cafe. The profits will go directly to enhance the grounds there, to include mother's gardens, quiet/prayer areas and a play area for recovering patience and visiting children.

Lusaka City Council: Many clients learn of our services by seeing our signs on roundabouts in Lusaka. We provide a free service to the city to 'beautify' and regain some of Lusaka's pride as 'Lusaka, The garden city'.
David Bland has recently set up and is a Director of the new LUSAKA DEVELOPMENT TRUST. We are looking for commercial sponsorship to support this important public work.
